FUNERAL SERVICE:  2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel BURIAL:  Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. VISITATION:  Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Friday, January 3, 2020, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. LUNCH:  Lunch for the family will be East Side Baptist Church at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 4, 2020. MEMORIALS:  If desired memorials may be made to East Side Baptist Church, 207 FM 3381, Comanche, Texas 76442.   Wanda June (Stephens) Weathermon, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on March 1, 1939, in Brownwood, Texas, to Stafford B. and Mamie B. (Martin) Stephens.  She graduated from Brookesmith in 1959, and on August 2, 1959, she was united in marriage to Ellis D. Weathermon in Coleman County, Texas.  Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.  She was kind and generous to everyone she met.  She was an excellent seamstress, loved cooking for family and friends, and for several years was in charge of the kitchen at East Side Baptist Church, where she was a dedicated and active member. She is survived by her husband, Ellis Weathermon of Comanche; sons, Cecil Weathermon and wife Donna of Comanche, James Weathermon and wife Sonya of Stephenville, and Tommy Weathermon and wife Ginger of Brock; daughter, Becky Hicks and husband Ricky of Comanche; seven grandchildren: Miranda Hicks, Jeremy Hicks, Laramey Weathermon, Elizabeth Weathermon, Aron Weathermon, Kearstyn Weathermon, and Aiden Weathermon; two great-grandchildren:  Brett Millwee and Kaylor Millwee; sister, Betty Sharp of Bangs; sister-in-law, Paula Stephens of Early; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Stafford and Mamie Stephens; brother, Otis Stephens; nephew, Greg Sharp; and brother-in-law, Bob Sharp.
