William “Bill” Durham, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 1921, in Comanche, Texas.
He was born on May 28, 1925, to William Reed and Estelle (Thompson) Durham. For most of his life he was a farmer. Bill loved to be with his family. He enjoyed playing in the rock pile at the back of the nursing home, and loved picking up and shelling pecans. He chewed tobacco whenever he got a chance.
He is survived by his sister, Lena Like of Gustine; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Durham; and four sisters, Mary Lou Braim, Ruby Crews, Rilla Braim, and Lilly Rowland.
