FUNERAL SERVICE: Graveside, 2:00 P.M. Monday at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. William T. “Bill” Ripley, age 86, died on Friday, April 1, 2011, at his home in Comanche, Texas. He was born on July 14, 1924, in Comanche, to George E. and Ethel L. (Trull) Ripley. Bill was a veteran of World War II and served in the United States Navy. On April 20, he was united in marriage to Frances Brown in Comanche. He owned and operated a jewelry business. He is survived by his wife, Frances Ripley of Comanche; son, Mike Ripley of Comanche; son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Janice Ripley of Midland; five grandchildren, Tanya, Penny, Shauna, Sheryl, and Kevin; nine great-grandchildren, Savannah, Addison, John, Dustin, Bella, Tyler, Shayne, Shaun, and Michael; one great-great-granddaughter, Leanna; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Robbie Ripley of Comanche, and Eldon and Jean Ripley of Odessa.
