GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Willie Joe Dudley was born on July 19, 1940, in Brownwood, Texas, to Albert L. and Cordie (Henshaw) Dudley. He passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017, in Round Rock, Texas. On September 16, 1961, he married Marie Lambert in Brownwood. Willie was self employed and a taxidermist. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Marie Dudley of Comanche; son, George (Ricky) Dudley and wife Jessica of Eastland; daughters, Dawn Hartsfield and husband James of Copperas Cove, Tammi Stewart and husband Alan of Blanket; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Allen Dudley and wife Betty of Brownwood; sister, Alfie Marie Bryson of Brownwood; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Dudley of Brownwood, Nelda Dudley of Comanche, Peggy Dudley of Brownwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert L. and Cordie (Henshaw) Dudley; and seven brothers.
