Willie Huddleston

Willie Joe “Pete” Huddleston, age 86, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. He was born on May 19, 1928, in Comanche County to Granvil Edgar and Tressie Odessa (Armstrong) Huddleston. He was a self-employed farmer and rancher. He is survived by his wife, Billie Jean Huddleston of Sidney, TX; one son, Eddie Huddleston of Sidney, TX; one daughter-in-law, Jeannie Huddleston of Sidney, TX; three grandsons, Jason Huddleston of Weatherford, TX; Scott and wife Sigrid Huddleston of Sidney, TX; Casey Huddleston of Cross Plains, TX; one granddaughter, Dezni Dyer Of Comanche, TX; two sisters, May Bell French Of Sidney, TX; Peggy and brother-in-law Gary Scott of Sidney, TX; eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; He was preceded in death by one son, Rickey Huddleston; and his parents Granvil Edgar and Tressie Odessa (Armstrong) Huddleston. Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. No lunch will be served. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 8, 2012, graveside at Sipe Springs Cemetery with Minister Chess Cavitt officiating. Comanche Funeral Home is in Charge of Arrangements.
