Winnie Johnson

Winnie Mae Johnson, age 99, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022, in Comanche, Texas.

Winnie Mae was born on June 8, 1922, to Alvin Lee Hall and Ollie Mae (Taber). She was a homemaker who loved to quilt and made delicious fried pies. Winnie Mae was a member of the First Baptist Church in Comanche, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Shirley Johnson; three grandchildren, Tammy, Tina, Allen; six great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; niece, Donna Moore and husband, Tim; nephew, Jim Hall and wife, Jan; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Johnson; son, James Johnson; parents, Alvin Lee Hall and Ollie Mae (Taber); and seven brothers, Truman, Marvin, Ruby, Cecil, Adrain, Willie, and Donald.
